The purpose of the structure subsystem of the BCCSAT – 1 is to provide a good environment to house all the boards and components making sure that they can function properly. This includes keeping boards connected firmly using bolts, nuts, spacers and using strong and high machinability materials such as aluminum to create the basic frame for the cubesat. And of course, main components such as kill switches and remove before flight pins guarantee the cubesat’s inability to disrupt or interfere with other cubesats within the launch pod, and lastly antennas and solar panels ensure the functionally of the cubesat once it has left our hands and has been launched into orbit
